Integrity
could be the word for today, but its starts with “I” (non earth-shattering news
of the day). Dads UnLimited has a few
underlying passions, but one of the strongest is that I am Dad now and tomorrow
and everyday. I must live a life today
that raises my kids to a greater tomorrow.
What a tragedy for a dad to make a
decision that affects his children forever.
Protect them, put on your shining armor and climb up on the white
steed. Forward for your children!
If you'd like a little help, or would like to pass along a little help, please check out some of the resources that I've been privileged to pass along to you. Free books from Dr Kevin Leman! Just leave a comment that you are interested and I will get in touch with you.
By the way, here's a picture my wife found for me today of one of the many reasons I have to stay true to my higher calling of "Dad-hood", our middle child and number one son with his very blessed father:

You two look so happy.
A very happy child and proud dad.
Yvonne.
You guys behave or I'll kick you outside!
Awesome Post!!
I am very aware that every day I am a dad and there are these two little guys that rely on me for EVERYTHING. But you know what? That is ok, because I was (still am) a son so I know how it works from that point of view.
And I would never trade that for the world.
I am trying to read all the A to Z blogs, but coming back to the ones I really like.
Looking forward to seeing what you do all month!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. He is a happy guy, and he makes me happy too. He's sitting beside me right now playing Monopoly with his Mom and brother.
No takers on a free book to pass along to someone else? I've got some for step-families, some about birth order, some about discipline, scheduling your kids, etc...follow the link to see what's available.
Great picture! Nice post for "E".
I rejoice every time I meet a wonderful dad, irl or online. My own husband is a marvelous dad to our 2 boys. But I have seen far to many friends and cousins grow up either without a father or with an abusive, aloof, or negligent father. It is so sad seeing how much they need a daddy and their daddy is to self absorbed to care.
Thank you for encouraging other men to be great dads!!!
Good luck on your challenge!

Hi Ron .. love the photo - great picture. Dads forever - all the time, setting that example and thinking of others - could we spread the word!
Cheers Hilary
I'm a mom, and I can certainly appreciate you being the dad that you are!
Sure hope there are more like you in the world!
I hope more and more dads connect with your blog!
Thanks for being such a great dad!
