Where would
we be without our kids' mom?
For most of us she is the woman we
can’t wait to see at the end of the work day.
The one we dream about, and with.
The one we struggle to love in the manner she and our kids deserve.
How about today you make it about
her? How about today you surprise her
with your devotion, service and love. Make a meal, bring home flowers, take up
her chores, fulfill that old promise, take her out. She’s your kids’ mom, but she’s the one you
love.

Great post Ron and never a truer word.
Happy blogging.
Yvonne.
I try to get my wife a bouquet of flowers every week. I usually do the cooking since I'm retired and she's still working. Her Doctor referred her to a medically supervised gym - she has diabetes and needs to do more physical work to manage her sugars better so I joined up too in order to support her and encourage her in this. Our kids are grown up and out on their own. That gives me lots of time to focus on her and make her feel special.
Lovely post Ron - I hope my sons are treating their wives that well.
My dad and I were very close. He was my biggest supporter and most trusted confidante. Great post.

Got to agree with you there!! Nice one!
You just earned a bunch of points dad. Now, if only your enthusiasm was a bit more prevalent!
Smiles!

PUTTING WORDS DOWN ON PAPER
Thanks for our weekly dates, the flowers, getting up with the baby at least once a night, taking time to play hockey or soccer in the backyard with the boys, taking our daughter shopping for shirts, Driving anytime anywhere one of the kids need to go, for opening your heart and joining me in raising kids that aren't our own, For going wherever God leads us. For loving God and trusting Him with our family.
I love you,
Your wife :)
